Full electric switch for UPS

22nd March 2018

Delivery firm UPS will upgrade its entire central London delivery fleet to electric vehicles, it has announced.

The company trialled a ‘smart grid’ in the Capital last year and has now confirmed its intention to more than double its 65-strong electric vehicle fleet.

Using the local battery storage system at its Kentish Town base, UPS expects all 170 of its trucks to operate on electric power.
