LoCITY Champion DAF Trucks will release a new series of electric trucks, the manufacturer has confirmed.

It has partnered with commercial vehicle electrification specialist VDL Groep to develop the vehicle, which is based on the CF model that was named International Truck of the Year at the Solutrans exhibition last November.

DAF Trucks claims the new CF Electric will have a range of 100km and that full battery charging will take 90 minutes.
