The £10 Emissions Surcharge comes into effect next week.

Also known as the ‘T-Charge’, it will apply from Monday 23 October between 7am and 6pm on weekdays in the same areas as the Congestion Charge Zone.

The minimum emissions standards for both petrol and diesel vans and trucks are Euro 4/Euro IV, with vehicles that do no meet this standard required to pay the £10 surcharge on top of the Congestion Charge to drive in the zone.
