£1m air quality business fund launched

3rd July 2017

Businesses in London can apply for up to £200,000 to help them reduce emissions in their neighbourhoods.

The new Mayor’s Air Quality Business Fund is now accepting applications from organisations looking to make their local area more pleasant for customers, staff and members of the public.

A total of £1m is available to fund five ‘Business Low Emission Neighbourhoods’, described as neighbourhoods where a package of measures has been tailored to create a “visible and physical difference”.

Such measures may include the electric vehicle charging points, green infrastructure like planters or green walls, or the retiming and consolidation of loading activities.

Any business or business group planning on submitting an application must express its interest by Tuesday 1 August.
