Parcel delivery firm Hermes will use electric Mercedes-Benz vehicles in a pilot scheme in Germany next year.

The company will deploy Vito and Sprinter vans in Hamburg and Stuttgart in early 2018, and intends to roll out 1,500 battery-powered vehicles by the end of 2020.
