LoCITY Champion launches a new renewable fuel
5th December 2016
CNG Fuels has launched a new renewable biomethane fuel derived from food waste.
They claim the gas is up to 40% cheaper than diesel and emits 70% less carbon dioxide. Several major retailers, including John Lewis, Argos and Waitrose have already confirmed they will use it.
The new fuel is the first biomethane approved for use under the government’s Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation scheme (RTFO).
