Transport for London has published a new tender opportunity for the retrofitting of around 5,000 diesel buses.

The NOx Abatement Programme, which recognises the Mayor of London’s manifesto pledge to improve air quality in the Capital, notes that TfL intends to work with suppliers to identify the most-efficient method of retrofitting all the diesel buses in its fleet that are of Euro V standard or below.

LoCITY Champions that wish to learn more about the opportunity are invited to register their interest by emailing [email protected] by midday on Thursday 18 August.

TfL will then be hosting a Supplier Day in central London on Wednesday 31 August.
