Applicants’ projects should have total costs between £500,000 and £5m and should last between 18 months and two years, with vehicle trials of at least one year.

Stream 2 will fund projects to develop trials of innovative and disruptive on-vehicle technology, systems or business models that reduce emissions in the real world. Consortia wishing to apply for Stream 2 should have projects that last for no longer than a year and will cost between £250,000 and £5m.

The OLEV-sponsored Niche Vehicle Network also announced £2.3m of funding for collaborative low carbon vehicle technology development and demonstration projects, although its closing date for application packs has now closed.
