German city’s electric truck trials
15th April 2016
One of Germany’s largest cities is trialling four electric fuel cell vehicles.
Over a 12-month period, the Municipality of Stuttgart is testing six-tonne Fuso Canter E-Cell trucks – two of which will be used in road construction, with another pair for furniture transport and waste bin delivery purposes.
Logistics firm Hermes is also taking part in the one-year zero-emissions fleet test in the city, which is known for its high-tech industry.
