Government publishes Road to Zero strategy
The government has published its zero emission road transport strategy, called Road to Zero, which includes plans to improve the uptake of zero emission vans and trucks.
There are also aims for at least half of new cars to be ultra-low emission by 2030, with a vision to make the UK the best place in the world to build and own an electric vehicle.
Through the strategy, ministers want to reduce emissions from vehicles already on road and improve the uptake of zero emission cars, vans and trucks.
