An air quality monitoring site in London

A new £750,000 mobile air quality monitoring system will be trialled in London, Mayor Sadiq Khan has announced.

As part of the C40 Climate Leadership Group global partnership, sensors will be installed in hot spots near schools, hospitals and busy roads.

The monitoring network is expected to expand to cover up to 1,000 locations across the city.
