The Department for Transport has published responses to its consultations on goods vehicle operator licensing exemptions.

Decisions made following consultation include the removal of exemptions from licensing for all electrically powered goods vehicles and the introduction of an exemption for alternatively fuelled vehicles up to 4.25 tonnes. It also includes the removal of the MOT exemption for electric goods vehicles.
