Royal Mail has begun a trial of nine fully electric vans in London.

The vehicles, made by Oxfordshire manufacturer Arrival, have a range of 100 miles and will be used over several months to test their performance while collecting mail from large sites.

Following another successful trial, a further 100 electric Peugeot Partner L2 vans will enter service for Royal Mail in December.
