100 pledge to Go Ultra Low
Gatwick Airport, Santander and OVO Energy have become the latest companies to pledge that they will introduce electric vehicles into their fleet, pushing the Go Ultra Low initiative beyond 100 members.
In signing up, they have joined organisations like Oxford City Council, Swansea University, the London Fire Brigade and Microsoft UK in vowing that electric vehicles will represent at least 5 per cent of their vehicle fleets by 2020.
Go Ultra Low is a nationwide campaign funded by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles, Audi, BMW, Kia, Nissan, Renault, Toyota and Volkswagen.
