The government has announced over £109m of funding for a range of low carbon and driverless vehicle initiatives.

Seven projects from the Advanced Propulsion Centre will be supported by a total of £62m.

24 projects from the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, which oversees innovation in the driverless cars field, will be supported by a total of £31m. 

Seven further projects from the Office for Low Emission Vehicles will receive support totalling £16.7m.
