French manufacturer Renault has revealed an update to Europe’s best-selling Kangoo ZE van – as well as a brand-new model, the Master ZE.

The new Renault Master ZE is the largest vehicle in the company’s EV lineup and boasts a range of 124 miles on its reimagined battery pack, which will become standard in Renault electric vehicles going forwards.

Tailored to the needs of business customers in and around urban areas, the Master ZE will be available in three lengths and two heights with a power output of 57kw (equivalent to 76bhp), which can be fully charged from a 7kw charged in around six hours.

Also announced was a new version of the lighter-weight Kangoo ZE which features the same new battery pack as the Master ZE and offers a quoted range of 168 miles – an increase in range of around 50% compared to the existing model. The Renault Kangoo ZE goes on sale across Europe around summer with the Master ZE following later in the year.
