LoCITY hosts first annual conference

3rd June 2016

Representatives from across the industry came together on 25 May 2016 for the first annual LoCITY Conference, with over 200 delegates gathering at London’s Guildhall to learn about the programme’s progress to date, and plans for the future.

An impressive line up of speakers, including Mike Brown MVO, Commissioner at Transport for London, took to the stage to discuss LoCITY and outline how the programme will improve London’s air quality.

Guests also had an opportunity to hear about projects taking place in other cities in the UK, while a quick fire “technology speed-dating” session provided companies with two minutes to pitch their own low emission technologies.

Calor Gas, Frigoblock UK and Perpetual Systems provided sponsorship and 18 other organisations including John Lewis and Gnewt Cargo displayed their low emission vehicles or exhibited products and services at the event.
