From farm to city the electric way
A grocery delivery service has become the first in London to use only electric vehicles in its fleet of vans.
Farmdrop, which provides food from 70 farms and other producers within 150 miles of the Capital, has replaced its 10 hybrid vans with electric-only Nissan vehicles.
The company says the move will save hundreds of tonnes of CO2. Crucially, it will also support LoCITY’s goal of creating cleaner air for Londoners.
